Training in Assistive Products (TAP)

On November 10, the WHO shall be launching Training in Assistive Products (TAP) with a webinar and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

TAP is the first ever dedicated training platform that links to the WHO Priority Assistive Product List. TAP will initially be available in 10 languages, with more languages and content to be added over time.

Everyone can access TAP – it is a free online interactive learning resource. TAP addresses AT workforce gaps, targeted at enabling community-level workforce to provide assistive products safely and effectively through four simple steps. TAP can also be used to deliver AT curriculum within pre-service education, such as nursing, physio, speech or occupational therapy degrees. Health professionals can also use TAP for continuing professional development.

Please help us to spread the word and let others know that TAP will soon be freely available. Kindy share the attached flyer or the link to the event page and the hashtags #ATChangesLives #TAPforAT.

Thank you again for your support!

Best Regards,

Vanessa Borg,
