This presentation will explore the evidence-base for auditory-verbal intervention over the last 20 years. Changes in the demographics and quality of the research will be discussed within the context of evidence-informed practice. Participants will learn methods for evaluating studies for clinical practice and the most recently published speech, language, audition, literacy, and socio-emotional outcomes after auditory-verbal therapy will be presented and synthesized.
